If you were out, see me for the notes that were taken in class on Thursday and passed in.  Tape these into your journal on page 69 and below them copy the following terms:
Principle of Uniformitarianism, and Principle of Superposition.  Get a handout from me and define both terms.
The Genetics Quizzes from last Wednesday were also passed back.  If you got a “1” on the quiz, plan on re-taking it during Wednesday CLB the week after February break.  If you got a “2” on the quiz, I will have a sign up sheet  - if you plan to re-take it  (to meet expectations of a 7th grader and get a “3”), be sure to put your name on the sign-up sheet so I can book you for two Wednesdays from now.
We also did a fossil formation demo, in which we simulated sediment (dirt and sand that gets washed into rivers, and eventually settles out in layers, downstream) and shells getting stuck, in the sediment.
