Yesterday was a field trip so no makeup is necessary.  Today we went over the labeling of the frog diagrams titled “Internal Structure of the Frog”  If you were out, I have posted the keys to the blog
below so you can check your work and/or copy the labels that missing to your handout.  If you need an “Internal Structure of the Frog”  handout, see me for a copy.

If you were out,  please do the following:
If you are in Block 5 or 6, see me for the key to the Bill Nye Amphibian video worksheet to check your answers.

Get a copy of “Chapter 45 - Investigating the Frog” and the worksheet “Investigating the Frog, Part I” that goes along with it.  Complete the worksheet and see me for the key to check your answers. 
This is part of the background information you’ll need before we do the frog dissection.

Today we  started “Unit 7 - Amphibians and Resource Availability.”
If you were out,  please do the following:

1. Set up page 104 as the title page for the new unit and be sure to include:

• The title: “Unit 7 - Amphibians and Resource Availability.”
• The standard: LS2-1 - Analyze and interpret data to provide evidence for the effects of resource availability on organisms and populations of organisms an ecosystem.
• 3 drawings and shade top to bottom.

2. Get a copy of the Bill Nye - Amphibians guide sheet and tape it into your  journal on page 109, watch the video (visit the science blog for the link) and complete the guide sheet, the see me for the key.
3. See me for your Summative Assessment on Waves, or to see if you are scheduled to make up the test on Wednesday during CLB (if you were out when the test was given).
