Today we checked the homework having to do with hominid adaptations (list at least 2 adaptations and how each one helped with survival).  If you were out, show me your homework.
We then summarized U4Act4 on page 66 and 67 and evaluated it using the three arrow system for connection to the Unit Big Questions and to the other lessons in the unit.   

Copy the summary below for U4Act4 to the connections pages on page 66 and 67:
Summary of U4Act4 Fossil Humans:
Fossils of earlier types of humans have been found that were helped in survival by adaptations, including: bigger brains (tool use), bipedalism (can see over grass to avoid predators, and find prey), binocular vision (seeing distance helps with hunting), and larger brains (more complex thinking).
