I’ve been out the last two days, but returned today. On Tuesday with the sub, students watched Bill Nye on Plants, and did a reading on photosynthesis.
On Wednesday Block 1 and 6 watched a video on Ocean Acidification - see me for a copy of the handout that goes along with it, and visit the blog for a link, then watch the video, complete the handout and see me for the key.

If you were out, copy the following 7 carbon reservoirs to your notes on page 82 in your journal:

Notes on Age of the Earth Summative Re-test:
To re-test, you need first to submit a set of flash cards for all the questions you got wrong.
These will be due on Monday and before scheduling a re-test I will check that you have done them.
If they aren’t completed I will contact home to follow up on your grade and progress toward meeting the standard.
