Quiz on Genetics is on Wednesday during our half day. If you were out Mon and Tues, see me to arrange a makeup day.
Set up your journal as follows:
Page 64: Write heading:” Init 4: Age of the Earth
Page 65: TOC (Table of Contents)
Page 66 and 67: Write the heading: Unit 4: Age of the Earth Connections Pages”

In class we had a discussion about how old the Earth is, and how this relates to the Standard we will cover.  The Standard has been posted on the back Bulletin Board. Be sure to read it over  and ask about any words or phrases you don’t understand.

Copy the following big question to your Connections Pages and enclose it in a light bulb: How do we know how old the Earth is?

Complete your title page on page 64 - be sure to include:
Title: “Unit 4: Age of the Earth”
3 drawings  - whatever comes to mind when you think about the age of the Earth.
Shade your title page in color from top to bottom
Leave space for the standard - we’ll write it there after it has been unpacked.

Today we went over the quiz on the genetics unit - the one on Friday was formative and we will be taking the Summative on Wednesday of this week.  If you were out, see me for the key to the quiz and/or to answer any questions on the quiz you might have.  We will be starting a unit on age of the Earth, shortly.
